Papa Murphy’s is known as a take-and-bake pizza franchise which means that the pizzas are prepared in the store, but cooked at home by the customer. As for their vegan options, Papa Murphy’s has two vegetarian pizzas on their menu that can be made vegan through modification. These include the Garden Veggie and Gourmet Vegetarian pizzas.

Garden Veggie

The Garden Veggie pizza comes with Original Crust, Traditional Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Roma Tomatoes, Mushrooms, Black Olives, Green Peppers, and an Onion Mix (yellow, red, and green onions) as listed on the menu.

In order to make the Garden Veggie vegan-friendly, only the Mozzarella Cheese needs to be removed.

The Garden Veggie pizza comes with Original Crust, Gourmet White Sauce, Mozzarella Cheese, Artichoke Hearts, Roma Tomatoes, Topping Cheese (Mozzarella and Cheddar), Zucchini, Mushrooms, Spinach, Onion Mix (Yellow, Red, and Green Onions) and a Herb and Cheese Blend as listed on the menu.

In order to make the Gourmet Vegetarian vegan-friendly, all of the following need to be removed or replaced:

  • Replace the Gourmet White Sauce with another of Papa Murphy’s vegan sauces
  • Remove Mozzarella Cheese
  • Remove Topping Cheese (Mozzarella and Cheddar)
