Unfortunately, all Twix varieties listed on Mars Chocolate’s website are not vegan as they contain milk-based products. Even the Dark Chocolate Twix have Milkfat and Skim Milk listed in the ingredients. The other non-vegan Twix varieties include: Caramel, Milk Chocolate, White Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and Ice Cream Bars. However, each of these flavors would be considered vegetarian as the only animal-derived ingredients used are milk-based.

The only commercially available dairy-free Twix alternative that we could find is the 2fer by Go Max Go. Go Max Go’s goal is to create candy bars without “dairy, eggs, hydrogenated oils, trans fats, artificial ingredients, or cholesterol.” By doing this, all of their products are 100% vegan. Additionally, their website claims that their “signature-recipe chocolatey coating tastes like milk-chocolate, but is non-dairy.”
