As of April 1st, 2019, Red Robin has had two vegetarian burger options on their menu. These include the Veggie Burger and the Impossible Gourmet Burger. Each of these burgers can be made vegan in the following ways:
Impossible Gourmet Burger: Substitute Bun, Remove Cheese, and Remove Dill Pickle Slices
Veggie Burger: No Cheese (American and Parmesan), No Portobello-Parm Chips, and No Roasted Garlic Aioli

No Longer Avalible: Guac, Salsa, & Chips

The Guac, Salsa, and Chips Appetizer at Red Robin was vegan, but is no longer available. However, if it comes back in the future then make sure to ask your server if it is still a vegan friendly option. If you search on Red Robin’s allergen guide this item will not come up due to the tortilla chips not being considered vegan by Red Robin. In a statement with the Vegetarian Resource Group, a Red Robin representative stated the following:
[They] are cooked in a designated fryer which only cooks our steak fries, Yukon Chips, sweet potato fries, potato hashbrowns, and the corn tortilla chips. However, on our allergen menu due to cross contact of allergens in the fryer area with splashback, vapors from one fryer to another we cannot guarantee no cross contact of allergens so we claim all ingredients cooked in any fryer as containing shellfish, fish, wheat, eggs, milk and soy.
We do not consider “splashback” and “vapors” to be substantial sources of cross contamination for this analysis and therefore consider Red Robin’s fried products to be vegan-friendly. However, if you have severe allergies to shellfish, wheat, eggs, milk, or soy it might be best to avoid all fried products at Red Robin restaurants.
